Geogard Ultra is a natural preservative consisting of a combination of natural food additives, glucono delta lactone, derived from corn, and sodium benzoate, a food grade preservative, sodium salt of benzoic acid, with a tiny amount of calcium gluconate as the treatment agent.

Geogard Ultra is an effective broad-spectrum (biocide) preservative that can be included in cosmetics and is effective in a pH range of 3.0 to 6.5.

With its multi-functionality, this preservative can be used in a wide range of cosmetic products, including shampoo and hair care products, lotions and creams and bath and body cleansing gels.
