Cetearyl Alcohol is a mixture of fatty alcohol of vegetable origin of about 30% Cetyl alcohol and 70% stearic alcohol. It is commonly used as emulsion stabilizer and thickener. It gives an emollient sensation to the skin and a revitalizing effect to the hair.
